Requirements to Schedule Threads

When posting to Threads through MeetEdgar, make sure your media meets the following requirements to ensure successful publishing and optimal display:

Posting images on Threads

  • Maximum file size: 8 MB per image

  • Up to 20 images per post

Posting videos on Threads

  • Maximum file size: 1 GB per video

  • Maximum video length: 5 minutes

  • Up to 10 videos per post

Threads caption limits

  • Posts have a 500-character limit


How to Create Threads

Step 1: Create a New Post

  1. Go to Create New Content

  2. Choose a Category for your content

  3. Select your connected Threads account

Step 2: Add Your Threads Content

  1. Write your post in the Edgar composer box

  2. Add images or videos to attach to your Threads

How to Schedule Threads in MeetEdgar

Option 1: Save it to your Library and scheduling it through your weekly recurring timeslots, or

Frequently Asked Questions

Are links supported in Threads posts?

Yes. You can include links directly in your Thread text, as long as the post stays within the 500-character limit.

What happens if my post exceeds the character or media limits?

If your Thread exceeds Threads’ limits, it may fail to publish. Make sure your text and media follow the requirements before scheduling.

Does MeetEdgar support Threads replies or threaded conversations?

No. MeetEdgar currently supports publishing single Threads posts, not replies or multi-post threads.

Why don’t I see Threads as a posting option?

Make sure your Threads account is properly connected in MeetEdgar before creating a post.
