Before You Start
Make sure:
You have an active Bluesky account
You know your Bluesky handle (example: @yourname.bsky.social)
You have generated a Bluesky app password (recommended for secure connection)
Important: Do not use your regular Bluesky account password. For a safer connection, Bluesky allows you to generate an app password, which is a separate password created specifically for third-party tools like MeetEdgar.
If you don’t yet have an app password, you can create one here before continuing.
How to connect BlueSky to MeetEdgar:
Step 1: Open Social Accounts in MeetEdgar
Log in to your MeetEdgar account
Go to Social Media Accounts tab
Step 2: Add Your Bluesky Account
Select Bluesky from the list of available platforms
MeetEdgar will prompt you to enter your Bluesky login details.
Step 3: Enter Your Bluesky Credentials
Enter your Bluesky handle
Enter your Bluesky app password
Click Connect Account
Once connected successfully, your Bluesky account will appear in your Social Accounts list.
Optional: Troubleshooting Connection Issues
If your account doesn’t connect successfully, try the following:
Check your handle format
Make sure you entered your full handle correctly (example: yourname.bsky.social).
Use an app password instead of your main password.
Try reconnecting the account
Remove the account from Settings → Social Accounts, then add it again.
