Can you schedule and publish TikTok Videos in MeetEdgar?

Yes! MeetEdgar supports scheduling and publishing TikTok Videos directly from your account.

Before you start scheduling posts, you’ll need to connect your TikTok account to Edgar. Follow the steps below to get everything set up quickly.

Connect to a TikTok Account

Follow these steps to connect your TikTok account to Edgar:

  1. Make sure you are logged in to the TikTok account you want to add to Edgar. Please note that only personal TikTok accounts can currently connect to Edgar.

  2. Go to the Accounts page in Edgar, and click on the TikTok button.

  3. When asked, click the 'Authorize' button in TikTok to authorize the connection to Edgar.

  4. Your TikTok account is now connected. You can start creating and scheduling TikTok posts directly in Edgar.

How to Create a TikTok post

After your account is connected, you can create TikTok posts the same way you create content for any other network.

Step 1: Creating a New Post

  1. Go to Create New Content

  2. Choose a Category for your post

  3. Select your TikTok account

Step 2: Add your TikTok Video

Video Requirements:

  • Length: 3 seconds to 30 seconds

  • Recommended dimensions: 1080 × 1920 px (9:16 vertical)

  • Supported formats: MP4 or WebM

  • Minimum resolution: 540p

  • Maximum file size: 50 MB

Uploading a correctly formatted video ensures smoother posting and better quality on TikTok.

Step 3: Add your TikTok Caption & Post Details

After your video is uploaded, you can add all the details for your post:

  • Write your caption in Edgar’s text box

  • Add relevant hashtags to boost discoverability.

  • Use emojis or spacing to keep your caption clean and readable

Before Publishing: Check Your TikTok Post Settings

TikTok allows you to control who can view and interact with your content. Make sure to review these options before scheduling your post:

Set your video visibility

Choose who can see your video:

  • Public

  • Friends (mutual followers)

  • Self

Choose your interaction permissions

Select whether viewers can:

  • Comment

  • Duet

  • Stitch

Turning these on can increase engagement, but the choice is yours.

Disclose video content

If your video includes brand partnerships, promotions, or needs additional disclosure, use TikTok’s Disclose video content option to stay compliant with platform guidelines.
